The Violet Crow was the first detective novel published by Liberty Island in July 2015. In the sequel, progressive elements of the Kabbalah Coop kidnap Bruno X and hold him in a Kafkaesque dungeon where prolonged exposure to Hollywood celebrities’ and social media chatter reduce him to a vegetative state. Bereft of his hero, author Michael Sheldon has turned to close observation of bird life, hoping these winged messengers will provide clues for Bruno’s rescue. These can be seen at msheldon.com.
