A 19-years-and-counting active duty veteran and USN Surface Warfare Officer, Tom writes acclaimed science fiction like his novel A SWORD INTO DARKNESS, and has stories such as "Strategic Deployment", "The Rememberists", "Within This Horizon", and "Dogcatcher Blues" in the anthologies REMO, RIDING THE RED HORSE, and many magazines. He is currently working on a hard-science Christian young adult adventure entitled DATTOO. He lives in North Carolina with his three kids, his wife, and an insane Hawaiian mutt.
