Leigh Kimmel grew up on her family's farm, where she learned the basics of entreprenuership as well as science and technology from the many discussions with her parents about how things work. She has a degree in library science and has worked in libraries and archives in Illinois and Indiana. When she got married, she also married into her husband's bookselling business, which has since expanded to selling t-shirts and collectibles as the markets have changed. She is excited with the possibilities the new technologies of the Internet have opened for authors to reach audiences.
